In part two of the exciting 'Pictures taken from my desk at work' series, it seems that some time ago someone stuck a Hansel figure to the ceiling :)

I went to see The Avengers this evening, or Avengers Assemble as it's known over here. Since there was a choice, I decided to go to the 2D screening at my cinema's premium theatre, Studio 5. Definitely worth the extra money; aside from not getting eye strain the seats (sofas really) were amazingly comfortable!
2
At the Dominion Theatre to see We Will Rock You with Andrew, as his birthday present to me. As a huge Queen fan, it was an amazing evening; such a thrill to see so many of my favourite songs performed live.
3
My birthday! Also the first night of my friend Adrian's stag weekend in Birmingham. This picture was taken in the Wetherspoons where we spent the evening, after enjoying some Laser Quest in Star City.

Before anyone asks, no we didn't go to any strip clubs. And even if we had wanted to, I think we'd have steered clear of these ones offering free entry!
4
Before going for breakfast on the second day, we came across some face painters in Birmingham's shopping district, which naturally meant that Adrian had to have something done!
5
A recovery Japanese lunch after a great night at the 80s club Reflex. After two days of drinks, karting, Laser Quest and singing 80s anthems at the tops of our voices, everyone was pretty tired, but in good spirits. Overall, a great weekend!
6
A brief visit back at my parents' house to pick up my suit.
7
I bought myself a new TV with some of my birthday money. It's pretty big for my room; I even had to move my alarm clock to adjust for its presence.
8
My graduation from Imperial College at the Royal Albert Hall today. A great occasion, and a chance to see a lot of my friends again!
9
An evening of Scalatron after work to help us learn Scala, a programming language that's not exactly easy to get in to. Pizza, beer and chatting to other people aren't really a good way for me to learn something, but a fun night nonetheless.
10
I had promised doughnuts for my birthday last week, but unfortunately getting them delivered through the post takes some planning. Since I've been out for a couple of days this week, only today did they arrive. Worth the wait!
11
I finished watching the first series of Game of Thrones today, which Simon got me for my birthday. I'm so pleased that the TV adaptation lives up to the books. Looking forward to watching series 2!
12
Doing some shopping in Westfield, Stratford City.
13
I bought myself a new HDMI cable since my new TV has enough inputs for my Xbox and PS3 at the same time. Not very interesting, I know, but here's the thing: I bought this for £1, including postage and packaging. It arrived in two working days from Amazon. There is literally no reason to spend more on digital cables.

Playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, I decided that I wanted to play an evil character for a change. So I've started deliberately choosing gear that makes me look like a Sith!
