Stop crying or I'll bite your head off too!

If you're feeling a bit down, I can recommend Bentley Jones' 'So Much More...', the music plays over the credits of Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing. It's absurd nonsense, but really lifts your spirits.
2
I don't think there's a better use for rice than egg frying it.
3
I thought I'd dress up smart again, since it's my last shift at Sega tonight.
4
To celebrate the end of the night shift we all went out for breakfast together this morning. Lots of swapping of facebook and Xbox Live information during the shift, so hopefully we'll stay in touch.
5
The new car, one of the cool futuristic-looking Honda Civics. I'm looking forward to driving it.
6
Dog politics at work. Maddie has just come over to where Meg is chewing on an old food container, and is now in the process of pretending not to be interested in it. Meanwhile Meg is enjoying winding Maddie up by pretending that chewing an old food container is fun.
7
Possibly the most geeky way of watching the Superbowl. For the second year in a row now I was on a Skype call with several friends on both sides of the Atlantic. A great night in, hopefully we can do it again next year.
8
I went for an interview at a developer in Cambridge (or rather, this science park outside Cambridge) today. I think it went pretty well, now to wait to hear back.
9
The Sun setting behind the field next to my parents' house.
10
I found an old diary from 2006, when I was at York studying Physics. It's kind of weird to see my scribblings about lecture changes, possible dates for astronomy observations and that week's problem questions.
11
Another intersting thing about my parents' house is that it backs onto land owned by the Ministry of Defence. There's a long fence going along the back of the property that prevents people wandering onto their firing ranges.
12
A rather odd gift brought back from Cornwall by my brothers years ago. Still, I kind of like it.
13
When I go to the cinema, the movie is only part of the experience. Getting sweets or popcorn to go along with it is very important :)
14
There's something nice about an untarnished jar of Nutella, like a calm before the chocolate storm.
15
It's pancake day, so I made myself a batch! And then got into a long argument with Sunflower about whether pancakes should have sugar in them.
16
At some point whilst I was at home our youngest dog decided to give the microphone on my headset a bit of a chew. Recording something today, they still work fine despite the huge extra hole!
17
Aliens vs Predator is out this week, the first game to be released with my name in the credits!
18
I really like EDGE magazine, but I hate it when the new one comes before I'm done with the old one. I've been reading my book too much lately, it seems.
19
Watching Andrew play Dante's Inferno, whilst referring to the notes in my copy of the Divine Comedy. They appear to disagree on certain details :D
20
I used my parents' scanner to copy some documents onto an application form I filled out today. If finding the right job proves too difficult right now, I'm hoping to get a Masters in Computer Science.
21
I knew I had to get a picture of this, since I know seeing the word 'biscuits' on a packet of Oreos will blow the minds of my American friends :D
22
Another beautiful, rainy day in London.
23
I often get asked what I use to record game footage for my videos. As I finished my latest one today, here it is!
24
The washing up: everyone's least favourite part of cooking.
25
26
Dad, Andrew, Simon and Alice with our prize for winning the Parish Quiz Night.
27
The function wheel for my camera, which somehow snapped off in my bag on the way to Seattle last September. Thanks to it, I've had to learn a lot about exposure lengths, F-stops and ISO values.
