When it comes to charity rubber wrist bands, there are more controversial ones :D

Matt and Charlotte came over to play some croquet. Yes that's right, we're posh enough to own a croquet set.
3
The sweet peas smell amazing at the moment.
4
Meg always sleeps with a paw over her nose :D
5
I grabbed a fresh muffin with my lunch today. It's weird, but I don't think I've ever had a freshly made muffin before, I'm used to them being sticky and muffin-shaped.
6
I finally got around to buying the two first games by Introversion, who made Darwinia. I didn't get a chance to try them out properly today, but Defcon is really stunning in a tragic sort of way.
7
We went out for drinks on Thursday night. This picture of Simon is stolen from Alice's camera.
8
Friday afternoon at Guildford bus station.
9
We've always had this lamp post in the garden. I think it's pretty cool, like you're entering Narnia.
10
Simon and Andrew watching the World Cup Final. I watched too, only the second full game of the whole tournament that I saw which gives an idea of how much attention I paid it!
11
The sign to our house, originally made by my Granddad
12
My Anaheim Angels shirt, bought via the Internet because I liked the name of the team
13
The Odeon in Guildford has these cool star-trees outside, and loads of rocks with the names of famous films carved in them.
14
I spent the evening chatting to Phil (in Belfast) and Simon (in York) over a video conference, like we used to do years ago. Good times!
15
Polo shirts are awesome, especially when they have cowboys on them.
16
They were having some kind of competition at the Peacocks today and had a live band set up.
17
It's always nice to have a proper barbecue during the summer. It's nice that the weather has allowed us to have so many.
18
I got another free t-shirt today. I'm not all that keen on the design on the back since 'Finalling Now' doesn't make any sense, but the colour is nice and it has the Bright Light logo on the front.
19
The bus broke down on the way home today. Luckily it wasn't far from home, so Simon came to pick me up.

Warhammer 40,000 novels: My guilty pleasure.

Packing for our family holiday to Devon!
22
Here is the house that we stayed in for a week.
23
The complex that we stayed in had an adventure playground next to the tennis courts. I had a go on the swings whilst waiting for the twins.
24
Holidays means lots of board games, including Settlers of Catan. Despite looking very fed up in this picture, Andrew went on to win! He later claimed that it was his 'poker face'.
25
The dogs really enjoyed having Alice around, since she spent so much time playing with them in the garden.
26
Today I went for one of Mum's many walks with the dogs into the woods around the house.
27
The scenery in Devon was really amazing.
28
Simon and Andrew playing Pro Evo in the living room.
29
A Tale of Two Pubs. Due to a bit of confusion about post codes and the sat-nav, Simon, Andrew and I ended up at the wrong Boot Inn. About 20 minutes later, we met up with Mum and Dad for a nice lunch on our way back home.

There was plenty of cheesecake left over from our big group dinner on Friday night. Yummy!
