Bailey made supper for us tonight. Then set the table and lit candles. After all, everyone looks better in candlelight.

After the kids decorated the tree, I stood in front of it, admiring their work. Then I noticed that the boy went through my 'foliage' bin and stuck everything I had in or on the tree. Normally a great idea, but what's with the wire end hanging out?
2
Mmmmm, turtle pretzel thingies. One of my favorites.
3
Two of my children are readers. I love looking back and seeing this. I *heart* talking about books with my kids.
4
Today we took family photos with all of the cousins in Fargo. I don't have a photo of all of them together. :( Instead, I have a blurry photo of my stocking. I hope I've been a good girl this year.
5
Here's what my non-reading child does on car rides. As you can see by Wyatt's face, he doesn't get it either.
6
One of these years, I'll stop putting this frame out. It's old and broke, but I smile everytime I look at it. That's the important thing.
7
Arg! Another photo shoot gone bad. Every one of my photos were like this one. sigh.
8
This one learned early, even bad pictures get put in the scrapbook. So get used to smiling and posing on command. 'Lift, tilt and twist your hip' is our family motto.
9
See? This is what I have to deal with. I even spot a 'that girl' pose in the back.
10
This year's Cookie Decorating party had a new addition. Gingerbread houses made out of graham crackers and melted chocolate. Technically, that would make them graham cracker houses. Either way, they were a big hit with the kids.
11
The 3rd annual cookie decorating party kids.
12
My girls all dressed up with nowhere to go.
13
Bailey's awesome gingerbread house. She spent so much time on this.
14
A plate full of cookies from the party.
15
Reindeer cupcakes.
16
My baby is old enough to start taking on shoveling the driveway out.
17
My Christmas shopping is not even near being done. But at least the stockings are hung. Cute little Jessie only admired the tree this year, she did not make a bed in it like in the past years.
18
Awww, look at Wyatt's face. He was absolutely beaming holding this little guy. My oldest child and a road trip was involved in bringing this little guy to Minnesota. I don't want to know *any* details from that adventure.
19
We are adorable. The Lemke Girls Bake day was this weekend. We made caramels, peppermint patties, white trash, toffee and Biscotti.
20
And one more, just because I can.
21
Wyatt's Christmas tree.
22
Bailey's Christmas tree.
23
Merry Christmas. We have not yet perfected taking family pictures. Someone always ends up crying or with a smile like Wyatt has. What's up with that?
24
To Wyatt's delight, we were snowed in today. He spent most of the day working on this Christmas present.
25
We braved the elements to meet Joel's family at a water park in the middle of MN today. Lots of water and lots of chlorine.
26
All of the cousins.
27
I have rearranged this everyday for the last 28 days. Enough all ready.
28
29
As an early Christmas present, my mom gave me these lighted branches. I need to find a different container for them.

New Year's Eve Fondue night.
