Been intrigued with the idea of a 365 project for some time now. This year, friends in the Photojojo forum inspired me to give it a whirl and not get hung up about perfection (I'll try!) I'm looking forward to a lot of practice and growth as a result.

My January prints arrived! They look pretty spiffy - so they had to be today's shot.
2
In front of a Chinese restaurant on Vermont Ave. Didn't eat there - went for Indian curry instead.
3
Got this for Christmas one year from a coworker. Have no idea why she thought it would be appropriate. ;)
4
Another day of no photographic inspiration, so I grabbed the weekly office flowers. They were tired, but the vase is beautiful. Here it is.
5
A vase Mom brought back from one of her trips to Germany.
6
Berries found on Ridgely's Central Avenue. Ridgely is a town of about 2,000 people. That they have a Central Avenue that's about three blocks long amuses me. But, I love it - quaint and lovely.
7
This week's UP floral arrangement serving as a place for Flat Stanley and Beaded Monkey to climb. Idea from a coworker who is documenting Flat Stanley around DC for her nephew. Fun.
8
A while ago a few friends from work and I headed to the National Geographic Terra Cotta Warrior exhibit. They didn't allow cameras in the exhibit (bummer.) But, they have this replica in the gift shop area for photos. So, I went back to get this shot.
9
Rough day and found myself struggling to find a photo op. Then, I walked into Chipotles and this fun sculpture and, bonus, no line! Mmm, Chipotles.
10
Ordered some new Chucks a couple days ago and here they are already. They're so very clean. And fun. And bright. And I love them already.
11
It's raining and my umbrella is sad.
12
Went to dinner at Victoria Gastro Pub with my wonderful friends Dave and Beth. VGP serves tons of beer, so we ordered a sampler that is served on this little carousel.
We got to pretend to be pretentious beer snobs while trying to figure out which we liked best.
Food was very good as well.

A curled up caterpillar (who was rather upset with me for moving him from my door step) and daffodils poking out of the ground - I think spring is finally getting here.
