As a flower, Irises are one of my favorites for spring color. They come in many varieties and in all shades and hues. These are growing next to my mailbox.

Been a very rainy week so far, so I have not taken any photos until today. Although it is dark and dreary at least it is not raining which allowed me to take this photo of a raindrop covered Maple leaf.

I traveled to West Hartford, Connecticut to visit Elizabeth Park to photograph the rose garden that is there. The park was crowded and busy with many weddings and bridal parties having their photos taken. The weather was near perfect and the colors of the garden were awesome. This is one shot that shows some of that variety.
