Zombie pig!! Another guinea pig emergency on another 3-day weekend. This time, Mimi's right eye clouded over overnight. It's been weepy the last few days, which has happened plenty of times throughout her life and cleared up on its own, but this time was special. The vet said that she has a corneal ulcer and uveitis. It could have been caused by an abrasion that got infected/inflamed, or she may have a type of Chlamydia that guinea pigs, cats, and goats sometimes have. Either way, a hefty round of meds should have her on the mend soon!

Another gorgeous New England weekend, and another stroll up the street for ice cream. Caught this shot on the walk home...the lighting was just right.
