I picked up a handful of Postcards to send via postcrossing - they'll go out to random people all over the world, and then I'll get postcards from random people back. It's one of my 'goals' for 101 things in 1001 days to send 10 of these out and get 10 back. I love little projects like this.

Winterlude, Hands for Hati. This was a human chain built along the Rideau Canal, which is the longest man made skating rink in the world. It was amazing to see so many people involved while they raised money for a fantastic cause.

Beaver tails - the best winter food in the world. Apparently in the US these are called Elephant ears?

Ice sculptures are a huge part of Winterlude. I didn't get to see the really awesome ones because the people were packed too thick, but I still had a blast.

Dinner! veal parmesan on fresh home made buns with some sushi I made. It's all very delicious!

Home made spaghetti and sauce with angus meatballs. The garlic bread (also home made) isn't quite ready yet, still in the oven. Nom nom.

Little hard to tell, but it's snowing. I find this amusing because the US has been getting so much snow, and we barely got any.

A postcrossing postcard from Germany! I've received four postcards now from all over the world. My goal is to send and receive 10 different ones as part of my 101 in 1001 - we'll see how it goes!

Moe (5 month old kitten) refuses to let me shower alone any more. Some how she's learned how to open the bathroom door. And she's always with me. Gah!

New keyboard! I had my G15 for a few years and it was time for a new one. This G110 was a gift, and a most appreciated one! I love it.

Moe likes to drag this entire bath mat down the hall to the front door. She's so tiny, I have no idea how she does it. Note the litter that she's also managed to scatter everywhere.
