I started my photo a day project on 1st January 2009 and have been updating my blog. For 2010 I thought I'd try a different approach and saw the Photojojo article about Shuttercal so here I am
LJ helping me to load the shopping into the car after our weekly trip to Morrisons
1
Changing rooms at the local private school where DS has his swimming lessons.
2
Switching on of the Christmas lights in the village
3
My unmade bed. Doesnt rate buckets of money like Tracy Emins version though
4
A rare photo of the boys playing nicely together. Bad light due to annoying reflective strip on TJs jacket lol
5
Quick snap of the sofa next to me just before bed as I had no other photo for the day. This is Polly, my diary, journal and a couple of TV remotes.
6
Evidence from my fact finding mission prior to a shopping trip to the wholesalers. Thought it might be interesting to see the price of laundry detergent when I look back in 10years.
7
My secret stash of sweeties, to be doled out as and when I see fit. They will never find them in the cool box, hehe.
8
Pretty cobweb / bronwnerie growing through a fence in the ginnel near home
9
Bit of a dodgy photo but theres no flash on my phone. TJ with his tombola wins from the school Christmas Fayre.
10
The boys had a great time decorating the tree this evening
11
I heard a thud and looked up to see Polly carrying this bear downstairs. She put it down and proceeded to attack it.
12
TJ loves his costumes. This one was donned after school for the very serious task of drawing superheroes.
13
Not only do I know where to put the fuel, not here obviously, but I can also lift the bonnet and know where to put the screen wash. Yay me.
14
TJ posing after a leading, hehe, roll as the Bossy Kings Camel, in the school play.
15
I went fabric shopping today and I have to admit I was very restrained, just 2 fat quarters and a roll of thread.
16
When we walked home from school there was no snow. An hour and a half later and the boys were playing out in this.
17
I spent this morning putting together the pieces of some more friendship bags. Louis was happy to help. He had great fun putting his foot on the sewing machine pedal, under supervision of course.
18
Louis being a lion in his nursery nativity
19
I had to dash out to the supermarket to pick up the final ingredients for our Christmas cake (yes I know it's late) and we stopped at McD's for a spot of lunch on the way home.
20
I took LJ to his nursery party today so I dropped TJ at his friends to play for an hour. He came home in a borrowed Batman suit and mask.
21
LJ loves posing for the camera
22
I have to admit that I spent most of the day making these as we're visiting the recipients tomorrow.
23
We didn't visit the gift recipients today because of the snow. The boys enjoyed playing out in it though
24
The boys tearing into their presents on Christmas morning
25
Still playing with Christmas toys. This time with batteries.
26
Even Polly got in on the Christmas present action
27
Took the boys out for a spot of fresh air and to run off some energy before we visited relatives.
28
Polly making herself comfortable on my cushion
29
Gadgets on charge

I had lots of photos of my beautiful boys for today but I thought this one was more appropriate.

Last year we bought the boys a storybook containing 365 Disney stories. We're at the end of the year and the end of the book. It's looking a little worse for wear but the boys have enjoyed the stories. Now to find something new to read at bedtimes.
