This is for theme 8 - Reflection.

This is a framed photo of <a href='http://shuttercal.com/calendar/modify_evolution/'>Mandy</a> (left) and her sister Casey (right). Mandy took it as part of her second 365 project. She's an amazing photographer. Even though she forgot about Shuttercal lol she posts her work on Flickr and she's really just fantastic. http://www.flickr.com/photos/modifyevolution/ See?

Anyway this was her photo from the day they found out Casey has cancer. I bought the print because it's such a beautiful photo - if you look at it up close (http://www.flickr.com/photos/modifyevolution/3550071748/) you really can see just how much they love each other, it's so beautiful and touching. Also because I care so much about both of them and I like having it framed in my room so that I have them in my thoughts.

The 'reflection' is both from the literal reflection of the candle flame, but also because of all the thoughts that go through me every time I look at it, and how you can see they're reflecting as well.

Mandy is the reason I even attempted to try the 365 Project, so I thought I'd share this with you guys. Some of you even started yours because of me, so in a way she inspired you, too.

I hadn't realized my lens steamed up for a moment, yet this seems to be the most interesting of the photos I took that night.

I got a new lens today but I didn't have time to play with it, I just got a chance to take a few pictures of my hamster. =P

Took this quickly while showing Kerri how my new lens goes down to f/2.0!! So exciting. It makes me laugh when I see the tiny tiny bit of this photo that's in focus, how random.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture, so here's an old one of Kerri from when we went pumpkin picking last year, for the orange theme!

Toki's so old, his eyes are all cloudy. It would make me sad if I didn't think he looked like a total BAMF. He could so be a Bond villain.

Steph was shocked when she discovered that our fruit salad had kiwis, even though Kerri had been sitting there eating them the whole time.
