Every day when I step off the train to go to work I look upon one of the most beautiful harbours in the world and two icons of architecture and engineering. So I began Shuttercal by taking a photo every day when I got off the train. Soon I wanted to inject some variety, so it's expanded to include shots of Sydney from all sorts of vantage points.

A slight shift of perspective. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the good ferry 'Scarborough'.
19
Sydney Harbour Bridge is the focus again today.
20
Today a lower and later perspective. The building on the left is the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA). A storm is brewing!
21
The approach to the Sydney Opera House (which sits on Bennelong Point, practically a small peninsular) is 'graced' by a building dubbed The Toaster.
22
I like the way the wake of the ferry curves around like that. And yes, it's hot. Stinking hot.

After a long weekend that included one of the hottest days all summer (ugh!), the weather turned all grey and rainy. Too bad for the passengers on board today's visiting cruise ship.
27
Looking eastwards this morning and thinking a cup of peppermint tea would be very nice indeed.
28
Today's cruise ship was so big it obscured the bridge! For some reason I wasn't impressed.
29
No ships in the Sydney Harbour overseas terminal today.
