My gamer secret santa package arrived last week and inside were these awesome earrings along with a few other goodies.

I bought Pavarti a new bone, the larger one in the picture. The smaller one is her old one, chewed to death.

My earring organizer arrived yesterday. So far I don't have very many pairs to organize.

I was quite impressed with the film. It was my first 3D movie and I loved it!

Pavarti found this in the backyard last night when Patrick let her out. Evidently she hurt its foot and tail to the point where it could barely walk so Patrick scooped it up with a box and put it in the cage 'until it heals a bit and it's warmer outside.' The little thing is kinda cute, but it's more rat than mouse which creeps me out. We had the cage and such leftover from our mice that died last year.

Turns out I was pretty spoiled as an English major. I only had to buy a few novels for each class. Not so now that I'm pre-vet tech; it's back to big, expensive textbooks.

It's been raining a lot this week. My school is somewhat flooded. Fortunately it's not too cold.

My dinner tonight, due to a pretty gross surgery I helped with while at the clinic.

Had a lovely evening with Laura and her hairless kitties, Gilette and Nori (short for Norelco).

Went to the Pearl Farmer's Market this morning. Bought broccoli, green onion, bread, lettuce, and breakfast tacos. I'm in Texas after all!

Finished Patrick's sock today and am starting on it's mate. Very happy with the way it turned out!
