i made dark chocolate brownies. they turned out perfect.
chrysanthemum.... blooming in the wild.
boat yard: May 12th, 2009
My mom with the kids, trying to get a good picture of all of them-- I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
Drove to a church camp to take pictures today (group photo memorabilia session I do several times a year)... the pink and white dogwoods are at their peak -- and were all along much of the 90 mile round trip.

May 2

This pendant is made from a Scrabble© Tile (.75 x .875 inch or 1.9 x 2.2 cm) and an image. Using a glaze, the pendant is finished causing a glass like finish. A small Aanraku Bail (6mm x 15mm pendant bails; Loop opening 3.7mm x 2.9mm) is glued to the top of the tile.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!
Lol gigantic fish pillow.
Close to $2000 and Ill be getting less than 300 back.
Gotta love college!
I come out of work yesterday afternoon, and I smell a smoke - "How odd", I think - there's no place with a wood stove within a country mile."<BR><BR>
So, I start driving home, and I see this HUGE plume of smoke. "Holy shit!" i go, "Boeing is on FIRE!". Turns out that there was a three-alarm fire over at the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center campus right next door.<BR><BR>
The twenty-five mile per hour winds made conditions difficult for firefighters trying to contain the blaze - but made for some impressive shooting!
Cupcakes!
New mug. I love scooters!
I think this is some form of poppy

May 6

I had the day from hell thanks to finals.
Flag Trumpet
we were at a baseball game and we spotted all these dear. I tried to get some good pictures but for some reason almost all of them came out blurry. This one is not to bad but still a bit blurry. It was neat watching them blend in to the trees like they weren't even there.
Lapeer MI.

Adirondack Diner
Small because I took it on my friends camera and took it off her facebook!
I love this pic of the kids!
Julie went with me to the 3rd grade recorder concert. It brought back memories for her. She hated having to do this in school and never actually learned how to play...just pretended. When there's 4 classes with 30-something kids in each, it's easy to fudge. Kevin, however, is our musician. He loves music and has been anticipating this concert for months!

Zip Line into the Lake! brrr!!
Finished watching yes man, it was really good!
We had a few dry hours today. I took Potato to the neighborhood we were going to move to. I really love the mountain and there are gorgeous views, but I am thankful I don't live there. We are happy in our new neighborhood. Potato has been looking for new friends. On our walk the other day she had here eyes peeled for a young girl to be her friend. I felt sorry for her. I think it is cute that she makes these big plans with her school friends about going to each others houses. To kids, life is simple. I love that concept. I love how her thoughts are simple and matter of fact. Oh, to be a kid again.
Apparently Superman has more than one weakness....WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Didnt take this today but its raining hard and the flowers were all wet from the rain so i thought it was appropriate!
He looks happy now, but he cried through his day care's special dance performance just a few minutes earlier. Most of the children cried or ran for their moms. The audience must have overwhelmed them because they had a great time during practices.

not very comfy shoes.
tonight Cameron and Connor both had their last band concerts of the school year. For Cameron, this was his last concert ever at the middle school. the lighting in the gym makes for some less than stellar photos but these are my boys! :) The oldest plays trumpet, the other french horn... next year Cameron will be in the marching band in high school and Connor wants to try out and hopefully switch to the drums! ;)

Happy Memorial Day! We had a beautiful day complete with a day long road trip. The rain interfered with our trip some but we still had fun. I want to venture out this summer and take lots of road trips. I think it is an awesome way to spend time together as a family and exposure Potato to natural beauty.

They've just put up some massive banners around the college to display select pieces of student work. I think it's a pretty good idea. Elephant is such a shitty area that anything to make it a little more cultural is a good idea.

Lesson of the day: My cats are the most destructive cats. Ever.
my shower curtain... i was BORED...
LOL another classic pic of Caeli. Potty training.
The kids wanted this for the picture of the day. They are having Crush Yogurt. Brandon hasn't had yogurt since he was 4 (5yrs). He has a milk allergy that manifests as ADHD. I don't buy yogurt since Brandon can't have it so Nicole hasn't had it either. I'm letting him have a yogurt since he is finished with school. They are SO EXCITED.
Riding bikes to school with Dad! We love when he works from home!

Dave fell asleep on the bed behind me as I did practice exam questions.
The cats are still dealing with the fact that we are still moving things around and they are still trying to find 'their' place. I just happened to catch 3 of the 4 very close to each other trying spots out :)

This shot of a family of geese would have been awesome if you could really see the geese.

May 31

Today was the official last day in my old apartment. I spent the whole day cleaning it but on the plus side I needed a new vacuum so I bought a Dyson Ball which is really awesome. I can't wait to see what they charge me for all those carpet stains.
Jacob's dog, Rufus! He's a little old man, haha
Lesson of the day: My sister is secretly a prostitute who awaits her clients in the woods.
Dumpling
My only pictures from today were of sillyness around the apartment, so I am using this one of JJ hiding from me on Friday.
